Healing Soul Wounds & Emotional Damage
Inevitably, trauma leaves its mark on our lives and we are never the same. Many try to cope, yet are left with too heavy a burden to bear. Everything from online shopping, multiple partners, or a nightly glass of wine numbs the pain, but the aftermath is usually addiction. After all we’ve been through, it’s like adding insult to injury. The merry-go-round of failures, leaves many feeling broken beyond repair. But, our very special guest today, knows there is a HOPE.
Though we experience soul wounds, emotional damage, and trauma, we can overcome addiction. Healing and restoration are available. We’d love for you to listen in to hear more of this interview with Amy Elaine, LaTan, and Olivia Cook.

An Adversary Like No Other
Like one who takes us to court and has brought a lawsuit against us, our adversary appears to be winning, however, we can know that God is on the move. He longs to bring healing and restoration in our lives. God designed us for abundant life in Christ. Fortunately, there is victory available. In today’s show, Olivia shares some key strategies which help in overcoming addiction.
Healing from Generational, Reactive and Habitual Sin
Sin weighs us down and keeps us from living our full potential. Long before Soul Care was a thing, Olivia’s methods for recovery were successful. She helps individuals with longtime addiction better understand the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. His power in us makes us able. (Ephesians 3:20)
Honestly, we all know someone who suffers from addiction. Perhaps, that person stares right back at you in the mirror. We want to encourage you to NEVER GIVE UP and trust God with the big, scary things in your life.
Addiction is a mighty foe, but healing is available.
Without a doubt, people need each other; we weren’t meant to face this life alone. With God’s help, medical help, and counseling professionals, overcoming addiction is possible. Tragically, with the recent increase in opioid deaths, suicides, and substance abuse in general, we determined it necessary to talk about this on the show. Our hope is to provide a resource for our listeners to get the help they need.
